Netflix, NBC, and even TVLand are distancing themselves from Bill Cosby amid the resurfacing of rape allegations against the comedian, but it appears his stand-up show will go on, according to the Florida-based venue where he is set to perform Friday.
“Mr. Cosby is a well-respected member of the entertainment community and one of America’s most beloved performers," the King Center for the Performing Arts said in a statement posted on its website Wednesday. "While we are aware of the allegations reported in the press, we are only in a position to judge him based on his career as an entertainer and humanitarian.
