DUBLIN — Usually when a tech company says it's relocating to Ireland, the announcement is greeted with fanfare and celebration about the number of jobs it will bring to the country's recovering economy. But Ask.fm didn't get that treatment
The company is moving its operation from Latvia to Dublin and concerns have been raised from several quarters, including the Irish government, about the company's decision to put roots down here.
The site, which controversially allows its 180 million monthly users to ask questions and post replies to other users' questions anonymously, has come under repeated fire in recent times for not doing enough to combat cyberbullying within its network. Read more...
