First came the Salahis. Then there were the Cartagena prostitutes. Now a White House intruder managed to run in the front door, carrying a serrated knife, before he was tackled by scrambling Secret Service agents.

After a few high-profile mishaps, members of Congress want to know what, exactly, is going on at the Secret Service.

Now, its director, Julia Pierson, who also happens to be the first woman to hold that post, heads to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Tuesday morning for what's expected to be a blistering hearing.
