It’s like the truffle shuffle grew up, moved to Minnesota and became a diehard Timberwolves fan.
Timberwolves fans were beyond excited to hear that Kevin Garnett was traded back to Minnesota in February. None of those fans was as excited as John Sweeney.
Sweeney, better known as “Jiggly Boy” among T-Wolves fans, became a game staple in 2003. His signature belly jiggle and commitment to whatever song the Target Center DJ was playing made him as much a part of the team as Wally Szczerbiak.
You can imagine Jiggly Boy’s disappointment when the team traded away his favorite player, Kevin Garnett. I wasn’t personally there at the game after KG was dealt to the Celtics in 2007, but I can imagine that Jiggle Boy’s jiggle jiggled a little less jiggly that night. Read more...
