Apple is reportedly planning to launch its largest iPad yet, a 12.9-inch tablet, as early as next year.
According to a Bloomberg report, the company is working on an iPad significantly larger than its existing models, the 9.7-inch iPad and the 7.9-inch iPad mini. The publication cites sources close to the matter, who say Apple has been working with suppliers for over a year to develop the larger iPad.
The news comes as Apple readies the launch of its next-generation smartphone, what is rumored to be the iPhone 6, in what is believed to be two sizes, a 4.7-inch model and a larger version at 5.5 inches. The iPhone 6 is rumored to launch on Sept. 9. Read more...
